The honest comparison: free and native vs MAV Connect
Teams Rooms come with a free, basic way of joining some other platforms' meetings - Microsoft calls it Direct Guest Join. Think of it as the built-in free tier: it gets you into some meetings, with limits. For some offices it is enough, and if that is you, we will say so on the call rather than sell you something you do not need. The honest comparison:

No new hardware required
Most video bars and meeting room screens we install run Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android - and out of the box, those rooms cannot join a Google Meet call at all. MAV Connect runs on certified Teams Rooms devices from manufacturers including HP Poly and Logitech, on both Android and Windows rooms, so one solution covers a mixed estate.
