    Alpha

A modern Teams-enabled collaboration estate for a ~1,000-person office, plus flexible building-wide audio for day-to-day use and live events.

    Scale & Metrics

    • ~1,000-person office
    • Audio sources: Sky TV, Spotify, live DJ sets (evening events)
    • Spaces supported: Bar area, boardroom, auditorium, 4 meeting rooms
    • Ongoing support: 3 years

    Delivered

    • 6 rooms
    • Supported for 3 years

    The Challenge

MAV Reality was tasked by the Head of Technology to deliver a solution for background music throughout the entire 1,000-person office. The system needed to support audio feeds from Sky TV, Spotify, and live DJ sets for evening events in the Bar area, with the flexibility to distribute audio to any part of the building, including the boardroom, auditorium, and four meeting rooms. Building on the success of a 6-room refurbishment and a comprehensive 3-year support agreement at the parent company's prestigious Paddington location, MAV Reality was once again entrusted with a high-profile project. The project involved creating a cutting-edge auditorium, an executive boardroom, and four fully equipped modern meeting rooms.

    The Solution

A combination of Poly, Sony, Audac, and Shure equipment was installed throughout the site to enable seamless use of all meeting rooms within a Teams-based environment.

    Outcomes

    • Flexible building-wide audio distribution for background music and events
    • A consistent Teams meeting experience across key collaboration spaces
    • A design that supports future expansion and operational simplicity

    Why MAV

    • Designed for real-world operations (events + everyday usage) without compromising reliability
    • Consistent room standards to reduce friction for users and simplify support

    Collectable (Fanatics UK)

A standardised video collaboration estate for a new-build Milton Keynes HQ - multi-floor all-hands space, meeting rooms and offices, ready for immediate adoption at go-live.

    Scale & Metrics

    • New build - delivered from a blank canvas with construction-wide coordination
    • Included multi-floor all-hands environment plus meeting rooms and offices
    • Appointed as UK standard partner for future collaboration and AV implementations

    Technology

    Neat

    The Challenge

Fanatics required a collaboration environment that matched the scale, pace, and global nature of its operations. As a brand-new build, the project demanded a partner capable of working from a blank canvas, aligning AV design with architectural, M&E, IT, and workplace requirements from day one.

    The Solution

MAV Reality led the end-to-end design and build of the collaboration estate, working closely with Fanatics stakeholders and the wider construction team. The solution standardised on a Neat video collaboration estate, delivering a consistent, high-quality user experience.

    Outcomes

    • Appointed as UK standard partner for all video collaboration and AV
    • Multi-million-pound investment in primary London location
    • Integrated AV across office and store-front environments
    • Ongoing AV management and operational support

    Why MAV

    • Repeatable operational standard across many spaces (consistent user experience)
    • Strong coordination across construction, IT, and workplace stakeholders

    HFW

A fully rebuilt, standardised and compliant estate of 19 meeting rooms plus 2 complex collaboration spaces, restoring reliability and user confidence.

    Scale & Metrics

    • 19 meeting rooms + 2 complex collaboration spaces
    • Previously up to 5 support calls per day
    • Expanded rollout beyond the UK (multiple European locations)

    Technology

    PolyShureSonyBiampQSCStartleMersiveCrestron

    The Challenge

HFW UK's existing video estate consisted of 19 meeting rooms and two complex collaboration spaces, all of which had been affected by inconsistent design, poor installation quality, and unreliable programming delivered by previous suppliers. Systems varied room-to-room, user workflows were inconsistent, and confidence in the technology was low. In addition to operational instability, the estate presented material safety and compliance concerns, including exposed live electrical cabling, unsafe fixings, and unsupported hardware configurations. These issues resulted in up to five support calls per day, frequent meeting disruption, and significant strain on internal IT and facilities teams.

    The Solution

Following a full technical, operational, and safety review, HFW and MAV Reality agreed that incremental remediation would not deliver a reliable or compliant outcome. Instead, MAV Reality fully de-installed and re-installed every room, removing all legacy cabling, hardware, and fixings before rebuilding each space from first principles. The solution standardised on enterprise-grade platforms including Poly, Shure, Sony, Biamp, QSC, Startle, Mersive, and Crestron. Each room was rebuilt to a consistent operational standard, delivering a simple, predictable, and repeatable user experience across the estate.

    Outcomes

    • A stable, compliant, and standardised collaboration estate
    • Reduced operational risk and restored user confidence
    • Expanded remit to France, Greece, Brussels, Monaco, Belgium

    Why MAV

    • Compliance-first delivery: safety, cabling, fixings, and standards rebuilt properly
    • Predictable user workflows across the estate to reduce support burden

    The Solution

The solution was divided into three phases: migrate legacy UK endpoints to Poly cloud powered by Pexip, replace UK systems with X-series and G-series units, then transition non-UK endpoints to the new solution.

    Outcomes

    • Teams-aligned collaboration strategy across the UK estate
    • Business continuity preserved during phased migration
    • Global interoperability maintained during transition

    Why MAV

    • Migration planning that protects business continuity (no downtime)
